Welcome to the pages for Module 1 and Module 2 of SOFTENG 761.
This part of the course will be a flipped-classroom approach, where you will need to read the relevant topics before the lecture.
The lectures will therefore focus on discussions, particularly to help you for the assessments across these modules.
Module 1: Project Rationale
We start with the client’s project description.
The rationale provides the compelling reasons behind the project.
The project’s purpose defines the concrete objective to accomplish.
Clients will appreciate if we understand this, especially if it’s before we meet them.
Module 2: Understanding Agile
Understanding what Agile is, and what Agile is not.
Understanding the values and principles underpinning Agile.
The Scrum framework.
The Kanban method.
